Coal cars are pulled over the hopper, as shotvn at right, and the coal is dumped into the track hopper where it is fed to feeder Number 1. The feeder car ries the coal to the crusher, after tvhich it goes to a belt conveyor that carries the crushed coal to the top of the Boiler Hou-se. The part of the belt conveyor that is above ground is shown at left. Coal from the yard area is fed to the crusher by feeder Ntmber 2.
