tain Charles Link, turned in an
amazing record of 23 wins out of
24 games bowled between Octo
ber 10 and November 28. This
brought them from sixth place
to first in the league. Left to

Another team definitely in
the running for the champion
ship is the one shoivn to the left.
At this writting, the Hot-Rod-
ders ivere only three games be
hind the Cello-Mecks and were
moving up fast. Guided by Cap
tain Jim Metcalf, this team won
13 out of 13 games in a five-
week’s period, proving they're
championship material.

Captain Jim Metcalf of Transportation and
Harvey Souther, pilot of the Pi/rates, are pictured

match on November 28. Though the Pirates
won, 2 to 1, Jim served notice that the Hot-
Rodders would be gunning for the Pirates when
they meet next time. Jim had this to say: "They
beat us, sure, but wait *til nexf time!”
