They have been visiting hospitals in the United States under the auspices of the United Nations, World Health Organization. Dixon, Mr. Nakamu ra, and Mr. Albert Early of the Duke Endowment. Above: Recent visitors to Ecusta were Mr. atid Mrs. James C. Maxwell of Valparaiso, Chile. Mr. Max well is Factory Manager of Cia. Chilena de Tobacos Jim Metcalf (Transportation) was awarded his pilot’s wings and a Second Lieutenant’s commis sion in the Civil Air Patrol in ceremonies held in Asheville recently. Captain Lenoid Winningham, Commanding officer of the Asheville Squadron is shown as he awarded Jim his wings. Since re ceiving his private pilot’s license in 1949, Jim has logged more than 400 hours of flying time.
