Smathers will hold archery instruction classes again this summer on Thursday afternoons from 5:00 P. M. to 6:30 P. M. at Camp Straus. All persons who are interested in learning to shoot, in improving their shooting ability, or who have children who would like to receive instruc tion in archery, are urged to attend these classes. "If the Thursday afternoon classes are filled to capacity and there are still more who would like to learn archery, we plan to offer an additional afternon of classes each week,” Smathers states. "Owning your own bow and arrows is not re quired for enrollment in the classes,” he adds. "The camp has several s'ets available for use by students. However, if you do have a set of your own. bv all means bring it along.” Bill Bangs and Harry Ballard, also outstanding archers, will assist with the instruction.
