BERKELEY HERE JULY 4th The W. N. C. Industrial Baseball League’s lead ers, the Berkeley Spinners, will provide our Ecusta team with the opposition for the annual July 4th classic at Camp Straus. The Berkeley Spinners are leading the league with a record of 14 wins and one loss through June 15 th. Although our Ecusta team’s record of 4 wins and 11 losses is not at all impressive, the team has been strengthened in the past couple of weeks and all indications point to better days for our team. In view of this a very good game should be in the making for the annual July 4th classic. Much rain has interrupted the W. N. C. league schedule in the past few weeks, therefore some double headers are being scheduled. For dates of these games, employees are urged to look for the posters at both the cafeterias and gate houses. W. N. C. If a man says he always sees eye to eye with his wife, he simply means that his vision has been corrected. The years a woman subtracts from her age are not lost; they are simply added to the ages of other women. The bee that gets the honey doesn’t hang around the hive.
