PEOPLE AND PICTURES TRANSYLVANIA SCOUTERS HOLD ANNUAL MEETING Adult leaders in the Transylvania District of the Boy Scouts of America held their annual meet ing at Camp Straus in November. Rev. R. H. Stamey, president of Brevard College, was the principal speaker. During the business session, Charks Dunlop was reelected chairman of the Transylvania Dis trict, and Earle Bryant and Lehman Kapp were named vice-chairmen. Gordon Sprott was elected district commissioner for 1954. Guests at the meeting were Forest Gardner, vice-president of the Daniel Boone Council, A. W. Allen, executive secretary of the Council, Robert Garner, field executive, and the scout masters and assistants of the district. This last group included Valery Carter and Hugh Bradburn of Troop 5, Robert Head and Harry Kolman of Troop 4, Paul Price and Jack Morgan of Troop 1, Gaston Siniard of Troop 11, John D. Reeves of Troop 14, Rich ard Gustafson and Bill Alexander of Troop 3, Fritz Merrell of Troop 2, Bly Rogers of Troop 12, Don ald McCall of Troop 16, and George Spicer and Rev.
