She has no grandchildren. It is interesting to note that her grandmother, a descendant of John Quincy Adams, lived to the age of 101. Her mother and father, Mary and John Petcher, lived to 83. Mrs. Beecher’s parents were originally from Bland County, Virginia. She lived in Chicago from 1902 until she came to Arden.
