Above are Sharon Lee (age six) and Doris Gayle Williams (age 13), daughters of Mrs. Loree Wil liams. Loree is employed in Paper Finishing Dept. All dressed up and ready to go is William Rich ard Fanning, eight months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fanning of Brevard. Richard is employed in Process Control {Film Division). REFINING By Harold Hogsed Henry Holliday, Roy Fisher, Herbert Williams and Jack Rhodes are proud owners of new auto mobiles. How do they do it? Henry has a new Ford Station Wagon, Herbert has a new Ford, Roy has a new Chevrolet, and Jack a new Pontiac. Herbert has taken a trip to Florida, Jack is making a trip, the details we will have to give you later, and Henry and Roy no doubt have trips planned in due time. Clarence Israel and family motored to Detroit and returned by the way of Shenandoah Valley, Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway. George Wilson is a bit perplexed, because these boys have bought new cars and not giving him the opportunity of trading a used one. Rumors are that he has gone into partnership with Ralph Nicholson in selling mules instead. Frank Patton and family spent a week at Wrightsville Beach, and reports a very enjoyable vacation. He says he caught a few fish, but from what I hear he had as much, if not more, fun catching a lot of fish, than anyone in the party. Mr. and Mrs. Burgle Queen have two Eskimo Husky puppies that their son Charles sent to them while he was stationed in the Arctic Region. These puppies were nine weeks old the 28th of May and are larger at this age than the average puppy we have in our locality at six months of age. It is well worth anyone’s time to drop by and see these puppies, as it certainly is a rare occasion to see a real Husky, especially here in Western Carolina, if not something you would not see in a lifetime. This young man is David Albertson, son of Jay C. Albertson of the Paper Division Finishing Department. David is ten years old. James Morris and two friends journeyed to Fon tana Lake recently and brought back quite a catch — as evidenced here. James is employed in the Finishing Department (Paper Division). 16
