FILM OFFICE Bonnie Grose Hot July served as an excuse for vacations, and many people took advantage of the circumstances. Bob Anders and Spud Carpenter spent their va cations at home, which is probably the wisest choice. Paul Frisk went to the beach, lone Cordell is on her way to California, and Ruth Reid has gone to Detroit. Helen Jo Manley donned her bonnet and took in the festivities at Highlands on "Hillbilly Day”. She says it was lots of fun. Everyone is begging for pennies instead of try ing to get rid of them now that the attachment has been put on the coke machine. We have never mentioned the pretty flowers in some of the offices, and think we should take this opportunity to thank Mr. Elliott. Bill Gardner was home for a week-end last month and it looks as if the Army life is agree- Little Hope Elaine Jackson is the months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Jackson. John is employed in the Poiver and Water Depart7nent. ing with him. He says now that Basic is about over, his goal is to let his hair grow. Allie Marie Sentelle is driving a Chevrolet of her own now. Her folks are glad they can use their car for a while. The Film Office girls send their congratulations to Annette and Larry Turner on the birth of their daughter, Lynette. Birthday wishes this month go to Bill Daniel, Harry Kahn, and Bill Woodward. Ramset powder-actuated fastening tools manu factured at Olin’s Cleve land, Ohio, Ramset Di vision plant were used extensively in the con struction of the n e XV plant at East Alton, Illi nois, to fabricate roll bonded aluminum and other metal products. N els On Miller, Superin tendent for the Hellrung Construction Company, Alton, Illinois, is oper ating the Ramset Job master with Ramset fasteners to "spike” 2 x 4 plates to concrete forms.
