For Asheville-Biltmore Today Dean J. M. Parsons spoke on Aca demic Standing and Enrollment, President Glenn L. B ushey discussed the Curricula of the Day and Evening College. B. TRMPH Lanky John Laughter gave a mag nificent scoring performance to lead Asheville-Biltmore to an 88- 74 victory over Spartanburg Sat urday night. The bictory was the second in as many starts against Western Car olina Junior College Conference foes during the week. Laughter hit 36 points on close shots. He received excellent support offensively from guards Norman Youngblood and Phil Mc Kinney, who hit from outside v;ith deadly accuracy, Youngblood ac counted for 21 points and McKin ney for 18. Buddy Broome and Jim Gentry, ?;ith 21 and I6 points respective ly, led Spartanburg, Cliff Mashbi?rn has entered mili tary service and is taking his ba sic training at Fort Jackson, He was for 2 years a leading Thespian in the May-Day Festival.
