The Bulldogs begin post-season play Saturday when they travel to Win- throp College for the first round in the iingle elimination tournament. ^^igij^slly, the game was scheduled to be at UNCA, but UNCA was •noti fied Tuesday that the game would be at Win- throp. UNCA, which finished fifth in the conference, beat Winthrop, ranked fourth, 1-0 earlier in the season and was set to be the host team. But Paul Adams, UNCA's sports information director, said that due to some changes in the complicat ed point system, the gamo was switched to be played at Winthrop, The game will be at 1 p.m. Saturday. If unca wins, they will play in the semi-finals on Nov. 21. The finals of the tournament are on Nov. 26. In the Wake Forest game, the Dsmon Deacons scored their first goal at 18:34 of the first half. Four minutes later. Wake Forest struck again. The Bulldogs left the field at the half with a 2-0 defecit. unca came back in the second half playing ag gressive defense. They held Wake Forest in check until the Deacs scored their final goal with only 19 seconds left in the game. The Bulldogs finished the season with a 7-12-1 record. Wake Forest im- proved its record to 7-13-1.
