From Governors Hall,
a dedicated shuttle takes
student’s to the relocated
UNC Asheville Health and
Counseling Center. The off-
campus facility occupies
the old MAHEC building
at 118 W. T. Weaver Blvd.
According to Jay Cutspec,
the director of student
health services, the facility
will exceed the needs of
student and staff.
“Our new building is
spacious, well-equipped
and bug free,” Cutspec said.
“The old office had huge
millipedes rising up from
the floor.”
