Page 4 Brevard College, Brevard, North Carolina, Friday, March 6, 1936. A Statement by Coach James “I consider this year’s basketball team an outstanding team, and the boys are to be commended for their fine spirit, sportsmanship, and deter mination. I believe this is the best team that I have had in seven years. It is unusual to have a team composed of men who do not smoke, who pass their work, and who have such a strong desire for team work, which is so es sential to a winning team. No finer group of boys could have represented Brevard College. I’m sure the student body is proud of their work. In be half of the team, I should like to thank the students for their splendid support and sportsmanship at our games this year.
