He was then a member of the Camp Kobe Golf Team. After his discharge from the service he at tended High Point College where he played as the 2nd and—or 3rd man. Steve, I who is president of the student body, started playing in 1953 and competed in the 3rd flight in 1953 and ’54 at Lakewood City. I Vance Link, a hot-shot basket- I ball player, is handicapped with | j 15 and will probably play as num-j ber 4 man on this year’s golf team. | Vance started playing in 1955 and ' was a member of last years golfing team here at the college. He has ’^>articipated in one tournament, the Junior College Tourney at Asheville, N. C.. in 1955.
