The combination of these two extraordinary talents literally achieves an interplay between music and the spoken word. The couple has had three successful tours of Europe including the Vienna Festival 1978, Austria, West Germany, and Rumania. The McDonalds prove that the worlds of drama and music can come together on the concert stage. Piano works and dramatic word portraits are alternated with works for narrator and piano, and dramatizations of famous music and literary figure’s lives.
