Jason Williams led all BC scorers with 19 noints while Mark Bean and Darren Mwler both added 14 points respectively. Tadd Connor led BC in assists with 10 while contributing four points. Other scorers for BC were George Bryant with four pomts, Rick Burke, six, Mike Cole, eight, Tom DeLucia, seven and Kevin Jackson with eight. Mark Bean ruled the boards with nine rebounds and two blocked shots. BC shot 50 percent from the floor while Gardner-Webb shot 44.1 percent. What was thought to be a close game turned out to be a blow-out as Darren Lawler poured in 27 points to lead all scorers for BC. He was followed by Kevin Jackson with 21 points and Mark Bean with 19 points. The game was close until BC hit crucial free throws down the line to preserve the win. Jackson pulled the team together in the second half as he poured in 17 of his 21 points. He also hauled down 11 rebounds. Second to him in rebounds was Tom DeLucia and Mark Bean with nine apiece. Other scorers for BC were Jason Williams with 11 points and five rebounds, Mike Cole with 10 points and four re bounds, Tadd Connor with eight points, four rebounds and eight assists, Ronald Connor with two points and three rebounds and Tom DeLucia with two points along with his nine rebounds. Darren Lawler and Kevin Jackson were named to the all-tournament team while Lawler was named MVP of the tourna ment. BC made 29 of 35 free throws for 83 per cent. Coach Rogers said, “We played well, especially down the stretch. We hit the free throws when we needed them.” Sparked by the fine performance from Jason Williams (16 points, eight rebounds and five assists), BC ran away from Reinhardt College and upped their record to 6-1 with a 73-65 win on Dec. 2. Mike Cole followed Williams on the scor ing column with 13 points and eight re bounds. Four of his 13 points came from two dunks which electrified the crowd. Other scorers for BC were Tadd Conner with 10 points, one rebound and seven assists; Mark Bean and Kevin Jackson each poured in nine points. Darren Lawler had five; Tom DeLucia and Garry Wadell, four; George Bryant, two; and Doug Webb added one point. Billy Criswell tallied 19 points for Reinhardt. Sutton and Thornton tallied 18 points each to pace the Morristown offense and carry them to a 100-77 win over BC Tor nadoes on Dec. 1 in Tennessee. After a totally dominatd first half and a halftime score of 64-31, Morristown started up again where they left off in the first half.
