The Clarion September 17, 1990 Page 7 I. * ^ . . ■ Green and Jones win at this year's Derby Day by Gary Weeks Clarion Reporter Every six months Brevard College holds its "Battle of the Dorms" known at Derby Day, and September 1 was no exception. After President Greer tossed the derby, the competition was nerce until the final results were released, and Green Hall became men’s champions and West Jones were the women's champs. Participating in the events were members of each dorm, faculty, and commuters. The events included volleyball, musical buckets, hair sculpting, Jello-eating, three-legged sack race, izzy-dizzy and the tug-of-war. The next Derby Day is set for this spring.
