Green and Jones
win at this year's
Derby Day
by Gary Weeks
Clarion Reporter
Every six months Brevard College
holds its "Battle of the Dorms" known
at Derby Day, and September 1 was no
exception.
After President Greer tossed the
derby, the competition was nerce until
the final results were released, and Green
Hall became men’s champions and West
Jones were the women's champs.
Participating in the events were
members of each dorm, faculty, and
commuters. The events included
volleyball, musical buckets, hair
sculpting, Jello-eating, three-legged sack
race, izzy-dizzy and the tug-of-war. The
next Derby Day is set for this spring.
Taylor men laugh it up during their effort in the 'always-hilarious izzy-d»*zy race.

In the game of musical buckets, sometimes the dunkers get as wet
as the "dunkees."
