This year’s Brevard
College Softball team is
beginning their brand
new fast pitch season
with a bonding friend
ship a friendship that
will help them through
their toughest games.
It is going to
be hard for these girls,
but they are working to
gether with Coach
Conner so that they can
make this fust year at
Brevard the best that
they can.
The team is un
able at times to all get to
gether and practice be
cause some of their play
ers are involved in more
than one sport.
By the time vol
leyball season is over,
they should be able to
start practice and begin
their season.
“By the girls
having such close rela
tionships on the team, it
will re-
ally
help
them
out dur
ing the
season
and in tough situations,”
says Kristen Weaver.
She also stated
that because it is the first
year of competition, the
outcome of the team is
unknown.
“I do know that
we will give it our best
shot to make it the best
season for us. We are all
very determined and ex
cited to start this season
off with an attitude of
confidence.”
It is usually
very hard to get a
large group of people
together and have
them to actually get
along. These girls
are like no other.
They strive for
closeness, and they are
very eager to do nothing
but do their best to win.
