We shared stories and ex periences about the lives we lived back home. While working on the trail, we would share our sweat and dreams with one another. To stand in the midst of a monarch migration, as they suddenly appear over the trees to the north, glide by within a few feet, then drop friendships we had made with one another. This trip was a time of celebration for the work we had accomplished and also a time to share some final special moments with one another before we went our separate ways.
