Suspects of the prank were identified later that day when security found flour laden foot prints leading to several rooms in Beam. According to security supervi sor, Dan Wood, the mail room in Coltrane was opened at its usual time early Saturday morning when the security guard on duty noticed that one of the doors of the build ing was left unlocked. It was then discovered that someone had poured a trail of flour on the car pet, which led up the stairwell to the waiting room, where more flour had been poured on the floor outside of the security and Cam pus Life offices. According to head of security Stan Jacobsen, the mess had to be cleaned up immediately because prospective students were sched uled to visit the building that day. Jacobsen said Bony Stevenson, supervisor of house keeping, was called in at 6:30 am to vacuum the flour from the carpets. Security Guard Paula Crooke was instructed by Jacobsen to search the campus for flour resi due that could potentially lead to suspects. “It was an easy job” Crook said. She described finding flour marks in the lobby of Beam and “floury footprints” in Beam’s hallways, which led to several doors where she began question ing. According to Jacobsen, Crook was able to obtain a confession from one female student that day. The student claimed to have en tered Coltrane early that morning through an unlocked door on the library side of the building. Other individuals believed to be involved in the prank include another fe male student, one female former student and one male non-student. The students believed to have been involved are being adjudicated by Campus Life. The Art Department is planning a trip to the High Museum in At lanta, GA on Friday, February 9, 2007.
