Mike Huckabee B^jubllcan Abortion: “I am Pro-life and pro-death penalty, and I see them as far different.’’-January 2007 Education: Big supporter of more funding for public schools. He sent his children to public schools, and also wants to maintain art and music programs within the schools. Representative Huckabee is completely against private school funding and private school vouchers. Health Care: Representative Huckabee believes the United States should cover individual health care but not necessarily for businesses. He also thinks more attention should be given to preventative health care and as opposed to chronic health care. Immigration: Huge supporter of border control. He wants to see our borders sealed and believes this can be accomplished by means of extending a fence along the border and deploying trained forces to secure it. Iraq: Representative Huckabee supports the war. However, he has admitted there have been ways in which he thinks situations could have been handled differently. LGBT Rights: Very against same sex marriages, and signed a bill banning civil unions in Arkansas in 2002. HLQaryClintm Damcrat Abortion: She is in favor of abortion rights, and supports Roe V. Wade. “Throughout my career, I have fought to ensure that every woman has the right to make the most personal of life decisions with her family and her doctor.” Education: Believes No Child Left Behind has potential if it is better funded, and wants to see much higher investment in public schools so that children can meet their potential. Health Care: Clinton has plans to make health care affordable, available, and of better quality to all Americans. Her focus is on preventative health care and to stream line chronic health care. Immigration: She would like to see more enforcement and technology at the borders. Clinton also expressed the need to communicate with our neighbors and help provide them with economic opportunities. Iraq: Does not support the war. Clinton, if elected, would have plans to pull all troops out of Iraq within her first 60 days of being in office. LGBT Rights: She believes the definition of marriage has no business in the constitution.
