Page 2 News The Clarion \ Feb. 22, 2008 Gun found on campus From Staff Reports Brevard authorities issued a warrant this week to Brevard College student Antonio Lawyne Williams for possession of a gun on educational property. Williams has been arrested and has also been suspended from school and baimed from the Brevard College campus. The arrest came after Campus Life received notice last week that there was a gun on campus. A joint investigation by Campus Life and Brevard College Security determined that there had been a gun on campus. The offending student was then arrested and put on indefinite suspension by the school. Applications are currently being accepted for the event, which will allow 10-12 students to work with the local Habitat for Humanity chapter and aid in the construction of two homes. Students participating in the program will be allowed to stay on campus for free during the break and will have their meals paid for with funding from the SGA According to Dean of Students Sue Yowell, this is a great begiiming for what she hopes will be a future Habitat for Humanity residential students sign in - the area with the highest percentage of residents at the game in black will win a pizza party.
