IWIL Program to spring break in SC
by Ashten Sheen
Contributor
The upcoming week presents new chal
lenges and opportunities for the IWIL
Women. Traveling to Georgetown, South
Carolina they will go full force into acts
of service. Until now, the women have
provided a solid foundation for the many
generations of women to come. In this trip
however, it is their goal to revitalize the
home of an impoverished family. Working
closely with Michelle Harvey and Daniel,
the women have chosen the site as well
as plaimed the entire event from start to
finish.
With weeks of discipline, effort, and dedi
cation on the line there is much hope for this
adventure. One ofthe truly touching things
about this trip is that it is service-driven. As
leaders, there is an incredible amount of
potential in that not only they will be giving
of themselves to enrich the lives of others,
but the endless possibilities of what they
will learn throughout the process.
During the process the women were asked
to give their thoughts concerning the trip.
These thoughts will give an insight as to
how the women view this opportunity as
an individual, as well as a unified group
coming together for an amazing cause.
