They still accept cash and credit cards. “We changed hours this year by reviewing sales from days and times last year. We felt like we were missing out on the coffee hours opening at 9 a.m. and wanted to capture those people getting coffee off campus. Also, we wanted to help participate in campus life with the help of Mark Adamsonby involving week end activities for students to keep people on campus; therefore adding Friday and Saturday late night hours.” says Bridget Vess, Director of Food Services at BC. If you like Wii, Nintendo or Playstation 3, those are located in Coltrane to use any time, with the addition of winning prizes during poker or trivia nights. Starting Monday, October 12, Coltrane is starting a contest for those who can create a name and/or logo design for a sign at the Underground. This area has had several different names from the Underground, Food Court, Java City, Coffee Shop and BC Diner You can design a logo or give some ideas. Gifts will include DB for Coltrane and a gift card to the campus Bookstore for $100. Some students have expressed their concern about not opening at lunch. “This fall semester is a trial period with new hours, so all feedback will be considered as we re-evaluate our operational hours”, comments Millie Heidenreich, Catering Manager at BC. There will be an ARA- RMARK rep resentative in Myers Lobby on October 12, 2009 that will be doing a question naire to get feed back on Coltrane, in order to have the desired times for all students including coffee hours, lunch hours, and weekend hours. Commuter Meal Plans have also been asked about. Currently commuters can have a dechning balance instead of a spe cific number of meals.
