Brevard is fortunate to be located in an area which
is full of natural beauty and is also one of the
premiere spots for several outdoor sports in the
nation. Located near Dupont State Forest, Pisgah
National Forest, Gorges State Park, and several
other protected mountain/forest areas, Brevard
College cyclists, kayakers, climbers and hikers
can indulge in their sport of choice while still
staying relatively close to home. Photographer
