Voice of the Rivers is an expedition focused on the interdisciplinary study of a river from its source to its end, and participation is open to all Brevard College students, with preference given to current sophomores and juniors. Students will earn six hours of credit, for INT 290 and HUM 290, a course combination which will satisfy the BCE LINC requirement and General Education Distribution Area Requirement III.C. This spring. May 15 through June 2, 10 Brevard College students and two faculty members will follow the Rappahannock River from the top of its watershed in the Blue Ridge 12? The expedition will travel approximately 184 miles by canoe and sea-kayak with primitive camping each night. The cost, including tuition, will be $2,000 per student.
