Saturday night from 10p.m. to 2a.m. the
Brevard College Underground was the host
of the B.S.U. Jam. This event was held for the
students who remained on campus who did not
travel home for the weekend. This was a night
of music, dancing, and just enjoyment of one
another’s company. Some people just came for
the free food!
Things began off rather slow but as the night
rolled on; more and more people came and took
part of this enjoyable night. It was hard not to
find a person laughing, joking, or dancing to
the music.
Many times as certain songs came on, the
large dance floor would open up and they made
a dance circle for individuals to showcase their
dance moves. Lindsay Pritchard a Brevard
sophomore soccer player says “I really enjoyed
myself and there was a great energy in the
room.”
Willie Jones a sophomore Biology major
added, “I definitely liked the different crowds
of people showed up and not just one particular
group of students.”
Sadly the party was not all fun and games as
there were some downfalls. Willie added “there
needed to be more genres of music and not one
specific type.”
Also there needed to be more observing of
the rules. Lindsay, “did not like all the drinkers
being congregated right outside the party” it
took away from the overall view of what the
party was for
