The mountain bike team did well at
Conference Champs, hosted by Lees-McRae
college in Banner Elk, NC. Senior Kate
Weisenfluh came home with another win in
the womens A downhill race on the rocky,
steep trails laid out for the racers. Weisenfluh's
time would have put her in the top 20 in the
mens A race.
Freshman Duncan Miller won the men's B
downhill race, with Asher Blackmore in 4th
for the men's A downhill.
Lewis Gaffney took fourth in both endurance
events, and senior Morgan Sykes came in 8th
with her best finish yet in the womens A XC
race. Freshman Madison Capps took 13th
place.
