October 28, 1987 Page 7 Step Show All Greek stepshow success by DIVANN COFIELD BGC President The Black Greek Council sponsored an All Greek Stepshow on October 8th in Great Hall. The All Greek Stepshow this year was by far the most successful to date. Approximately $2700 was raised from this event and the proceeds will be donated to the United Negro College Fund in the name of the Black Greek Council. The stepshow not only gave the Black Greek Organizations a chance to “strut their stuff”, but it also served as part of the Homecoming festivities. This was the first time the Black Greek Council par ticipated in such a way. The stepshow also served as an im- w portant service project tor the BGC. Although Great Hall was filled to its capacity, most people enjoyed the show and appreciated the effort shown by the Greeks. Special thanks go out to those who made the show possible: Carol Geer and the Carolina Athletic Association, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Zeta Phi Beta Alpha Kappa Alpha. Delta Sigma Theta, Alpha Phi Alpha, and Phi Beta Sigma. Also thanks to Carla Marlin, Tanya Per son and Foster Blair, the emcee's and those who volunteered to collect the ad mission charge at the doors Hopefully, the show displayed the positive attributes of all the Black Greek Organizations and events such as this will continue.
