However, unlike their fellow students who will be returning to GWU’s campus in August, the class of 2004 will don their caps and gowns on May 8 and officially complete their degrees. Leaving behind a community known for its warmth and family-like atmosphere, these students will pursue other paths. Some will continue their education, enrolling in various gradu ate programs in the United States and abroad. Other seniors, after obtaining jobs, will begin life in the business world. Some students after graduating take a year off to enjoy life, pursue other interests and save money. Still others will couple this achievement with another milestone—marriage. Graduation ceremonies are planned for May. 8 in the Lutz-Yelton Convocation Center at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday night, May 7, the office of alumni relations and the office of the president are hosting a reception for graduates and their friends and fami lies.
