November 19. 2009 The Pilot News 2009 annual Christmas art sale in full swing Gardner-Webb Uni versity’s Department of Fine Arts - Visual Arts Division along with the GWU Art Club presents their annual Christmas Sale, a student and fac ulty fine art sale, featur ing a variety of gift ideas for the upcoming holiday season. The event opened with a special preview on Wednesday, November 18 and continues Thurs day through Saturday (Nov. 19-21) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the Com munications Studies Hall Gallery. This year’s Christmas Sale will feature jewelry, potte’ry,paintings, fiber arts, handbags, scripture callig raphy and more. Featured artists include - Susan Carlisle Bell, Karen Dun ham, Doug Knotts, Trudy Roth, and Ruth Zehnder. Additional art will be for sale by Gardner-Webb Art Students. During some of the sale, live music will be performed by Joe Col lins - dulcimer and David Parker - acoustic guitar. Baked goods will also be served.
