Granville Jorm displayed an all out effort for the game with about 50 girls participating in the acti vities, The coaches for Granville, Bo'o Anderson, Don Stokes, and Paul Vestal, had worked out lots of pla> s and the girls practiced hard on all of them, as was apparent by their victorious win. Although Granville had practiced mostly plays involving passes, the action was forced to be mostly ground plays. The only T.D. was made in the first quarter when the Granville team faked a move ment to the left and quarterback Mev Fraser handed oft to Kristin Gronning who ran to the right leaving Albemarle's players in a state of wonderment. Granville's victory was due mostly to their outstanding line. They were able to hold so that the team gained yardage as well as keeping Al bemarle from scoring. Co- captains Mev Fraser and Jackie Stafford were both proud of the all out team effort and the out standing plaving of several members of the team.^ Albemarle executed some out standing plays. A handoff to Mar cia Hill, produced a 45 yards gain. Albemarle only completed one pass from quarterback captain Patsy Pence to Marcia 45 Hamers End Season 11-5 November 5,19fi=: Hill, but Granville intercepted two of their attempts.
