Girls Have Fling At Fort Bragg “Oh Yeh! And every girl has her fling (Highland, that is) be-^ fore she leaves Flora Macdon- aid College.” | This quotation really came to life September 24th for some of the Senior girls in the Physi cal Education Department. Cap tain Madden of Fort Bragg issu ed “the big order” last week when he asked Miss Ethel Bate man to sponsor these girls during ' the half of football game Satur day. The football players of the j 82nd Airborne Artillery and the 20th Engineers were entertained ; by the sixteen dancers presenting the Highland Fling and the Reel of Tulloch. Vivian Morrison ac companied them with her bag- ' pipes. Another highlight of the j program was the famous “Sword I Dance” performed by Vivian Morrison who has won many medals for her dancing ability. I In appreciation of their per formance, the girls were enter tained at dinner by Captain Mad den and two escort officers. There the Master of Ceremonies ■ntroduced the girls. Also dur- 'n the evening, the girls were giv- ’n a tour of Fort Bragg.
