Bringing to a close the activities of the day was the crowning' of . Roberta Moore as “Miss S. T. C,” Preceded by her attendants, in cluding Rosa Edwards and Addie Howard who were candidates for . "Miss S. T. C.”, she entered the auditorium with James Walker, vice-president of the Senior Class. She was presented to Alexander Davis who recognized her as the most outstanding student for 1949 and who placed on her head a crown signifying “victory.” Atten- ' clants danced to her honor. Mar jorie Coston recited “Ask Me Why I Love You”, and Glennie Hollo- mon sang “Beautiful Dreamer”. Thus ended College Day.
