STATE GETS NEW ATHLETIC COACH The most recent addition to our coaching staff is Mr. Jack W. Housen | of Huntington, West \’irginia. He was | graduated from W'est X'irginia State | College with the Bachelor of Science j degree and from the Y. M. C. in I Springfield, Massachusetts, with the degree of Master of Arts. Booth Leads Attack in Opener, Defeat Voorhees College 13-0 Our new assistant coach is Jack Housen, a product of West Mrginia State College. He also holds a Mas ters in physical education from Y'.M.- CA. College. Springfield, Massachu setts. From all indications Coach Hou sen will prove to be an asset to the “Pirate” ele\en. Hats off to our new lach! Last year as students, you played wonderful role for the football team. Hiis year >ou are needed more fo than ever, for the coaches are rebuil d ing. From this point to the end of the first half, both teams battled on e\‘en tenns — each failing to score. The half ended 0-0.
