The Prayers We Say By CAROL M. McKlVER The prayers we say for others are often heard. Heard through all of the emotion and sincerity one may give. The answer will come maybe not the time we think. But it is the urgence of the soul that send pray ers where they belong. The prayers we say for others. The prayers we say for the world are the prayers men say in their own language in their own way and time. It is the possible approach to the transcendatai search of every man. Man conceived of purity cause Lillian Riggs and Otassa Lacy are already busy getting the news. With the knowledge of rules and order, Anthony Russel will serve the Sen ior Class as its Parlia mentarian. Armelia, who blows a clarinet in the 130-piece ECSU marching band, is an elementary education rqajor. A native of Rust- burg, Virginia, she is an honor graduate of the for mer Campbell County High School. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vance Hemdon,Ar- melia has been associat ed with the 4-H Club since she was in the the fifth grade. Her continued in terest and participation in the Poultry Marketing Projects naturally led to the selection. A Blue Ribbon winner at the state 4-H conven tion, at Virginia Poly technic Institute, during the summer, Armelia was tabbed a 4-H All-Star with her demonstration on how to buy eggs. Earlier pro jects which provided val uable experience were centered around how to grade eggs and how to cook barbecue chicken. in the essence pleads for his destiny and has become hostile to the world that has become his creator. How horrid some things we think and believe be cause of the world but the prayers we say we sur render to thee. Oh, the prayers we say. The most selfish prayers we say ar e the prayers we say for ourselves. Through all the tears, anxiety, depression and soul searching somehow we still believe. “If there were not a God it would be necessary for us to in vent one.” The prayers we say take us on a jour ney to the stars.
