Radio Station Has Multi-Talented Director

The man behind WSNC-FM is Mr.
Clarence Thomas. An honors graduate
from Hampton Institute, Mr. Thomas is
the Mass Communications Coordinator,
and the Radio Staff General Manager. Mr.
Thomas also teaches Mass Communica
tions, Speech, and is currently planning an
academic program in Mass Communica
tions.
When asked about the future of WSNC,
Mr. Thomas feels that “the sky is the limit
once hours, programs, and staff are in
creased.” Mr. Thomas would like to see
more professional people working with the

Another project Mr. Thomas works on is
the television lab. The television lab helps
to train Mass Communication students in
television, production, and studio work.
Mr. Thomas says that he would like to see
the television lab hooked to Cable televi
sion.
Mr. Thomas graduated from Hampton
Institute, as a Mass Communication ma
jor. He received his masters in Broadcast
Communication from the University of
Syracuse. He is also a member of the
Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
