The Department of Psychiatry and Behav
ioral Medicine at Bowman Gray School of
Medicine will present two forums open to the
public October 3rd and October 10th.
The October 3rd Forum is titled "Aging
and the Mind; A Look at the Facts." Led by
Dr. Burton Reifler, experts will discuss
research, families and the community as they
relate to the topic. The program is co-sp>on-
sored by Senior Services, Inc.
The October 10th Forum is titled "Psychi
atric Diagnosis and Treatment in Adoles
cence." Led by Dr. Richard W. Brunstetter,
experts will discuss diagnosis, treatment and
the family as they relate to the adolescent. An
open house for the new adolescent psychiatric
inpatient unit of North Carolina Baptist Hospi
tal will be held after the program. Both
Forums will be held in Babcock Auditorium at
300 South Hawthorne Road in Winston-Salem.
