Students and alumni volunteers will be calling alumni, parents and friends asking for gifts and pledges to the Annual Fund. Pledges made this fall are payable until May 31,1992. This is the one time during the year that alumni and parents will be telephoned to contribute to the Alumni Loyalty Fund and Parents' Fund. "Due to alumni demand last year, we changed the phonathon from the spring to the fall of the year. Last year’s fall phonathon brought in a record amount of contributions and support for the college," states E. Vincent Tilson, vice president for development. "We are confident this fall's phonathon will be a success and hope many alumni and friends will respond positively when they are called." 0(D0 QCDQ (3(T)(a) g)(DI3 Notes from Development "The North Carolina and Southern Baptist Foundations" Chowan Today — Fall, 1991 — PAGE 19
