Collier Jr Stephens received honors as the Best All-Around Student on Awards Day. LEADING THE PROCESSIONAL-Dr. Joyce Elliott, faculty marshall, carries the ceremonial mace and leads the platform party. Following Dr Elliott are the Rev. Tim Wilson, campus minister; D. H. Nicholson, registrar; and Dr B. Franklin Lowe, Jr, vice president for academic affairs. € Dr. Andrea Eason, executive director of information technol ogy, makes a photograph of a member of the Class of 1996 prior to the beginning of the graduation exercises. The photo made was probably of Dr. Eason’s daughter, Frances, who received her degree at the 148th ceremonies. ^ I Graduates in the Class of 1996 are jubilant after receiving their deyees and hearing the proclamation from the president of the college that they are now Chowan alumni!
