True Life it’s such an unpredictable thing •You learn something one day The whole meaning changes the next You fall in love then fall out Pick the pieces up, then do it again Like a chain of heartaches That will never end Why not have a love that could never hurt One that will support you Whatever you do Never unfaithful, but just plain true Whenever things start out They are thought of as one Though it could never be true For you live for you, not only one So why be unhappy trying to be one Live for yourself And the one will be two And forever be true. ! We laughed, We cried. We fought, But most important... We talked. Talked about each others problems. Talked about funny things, and the sad things too. Even when we were silent, we were still talking together. Then suddenly we’re apart. Everyone went their... own way. We all write to keep in touch. But still that doesn’t help much. It all happened at Chowan, That’s where we all met. We all grew together, the five of us, into a special friendship. We’re all sad that we’re apart, but we all keep each other in heart. It’s all because our friendship is a special one, all because... We’re... Best Friends by Wendy Jo For the gang: Susan, Whipper, Morgan, Gidget.
