Should Methodist College hold classes on federal holidays? All photos taken by Robin Warrington. . , n*' ^ I don’t think that they should hold classes on federal holidays because speaking as a single parent, it’s hard to find child care and most people are off from work. -Robert Walker Sophomore No, because everyone else is off. Nobody goes to work. Why should we have classes? -Kellie McCormac Freshman No, because it is designated as a holiday and we should respect that. -Micheal Cavanaugh Freshman because if the postal service gets it off, so should we. -Joey Barnard Freshman No, for the most part on federal holidays people don’t have to work, so teachers should have it off, too. Everybody else gets school off even government offlcials, so we should too. -Laura Ratcliffe Freshman -Jessica Harkinson Freshman No, because federal holidays should be observed by all educational institutes. -Jeanna Maynard Junior No, because it’s a federal holiday and everyone but private schools have off, and that’s not fair. -Rachel Coles Freshman Of course not! I want to be out of school as much as possible. -Adam Smith Freshman No, we as students have as much of a right to observe federal holiday as anyone else and so do the No, because nobody else has professors. school, everything is closed, and there is no reason to be in school. -Lillian Bolick Senior -Tasha Washington Freshman
