North Carolina Wesleyan Col lege.” Two years ago this campus site was little more than a small clearing. As construction began, it took on a new appearance. Foundations were dug, land was cleared, and the skeletons of three buildings appeared. The Administration Building was completed in the fall of 1960, ready to greet the first class. Gradually other buildings be gan to take shape. By 1961, two dormitories were ready for oc cupancy, and the Student Union- Cafeteria Building was com pleted. Next came the Presi dent’s Home. Two new dormitories are un der construction now. As soon as they arc completed, a gym nasium and an infirmary will appear, to be followed by addi tional dormitories, a library and a chapel. Six years have passed since Wesleyan was founded, and two years have passed since con- ' struction first began. In that I time, the new campus has taken \ on the appearance of a busy I college looking to the future. The foundation of the new col lege is firm. On its strong foun- 5 dation, Wesleyan looks to the years ahead with confidence.
