Af- First Cheering Squad Chosen By Wesleyan On Friday, November 1, Wesleyan’s first cheering isquad was chosen by 15 judges. The conception of a cheer ing squad arose through the Faculty Student Life and Services Committee and was realized by the Athletic Com mission. Mike Pratt and David Reeves organized the plans and introduced them to the student body during assembly. The original idea was to have three men and four wo men, but due to the leak of interest among men, only wo men students participated. Linda Law, a blond haired, blue-eyed freshman, was also chosen. Lynn Austin and Suzanne Barwick, both freshman, are active in student affairs.
