SEPT. 20, 1968 THE DECREE LITTLE MAN ON CAMPUS “Have trouble with #4 last nite? I see I left out part of th’ problem when I copied it on the board.” Straw Ballot (Continued from page 1 ) Mr. Rushing does not think that the vote taken on September 10 truly in dicates the results of the November national elec- tion because the students in his classes were not representative of the - groups from which the tra- ditional Democratic sup port comes. For this rea son, he was not surpris ed by the results of his classes’ vote. Professor King He hopes that people will tend to pay more at tention to issues, cam paigning, qualifications, and the man, rather than the party when they vote in November, He fore sees that Humphrey will pick up some votes from the undecided voters in dicated in the recent bal loting. Mr. King would like for an organization to spon sor a vote to be taken among the faculty mem bers in the near future, and compare it with the students’ responses both now and in November.
