HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Roy Clinard, milling machine op

approximately 20 guests at a birthday
party on June 3, 1955, at 10:00 A.M.,
in the Black Room of the Shop on the
occasion of his 42ndbirthday. A beauti
fully appointed machine crate, featuring
imported corrugated cover, held the
birthday cake, which was cut by the
honoree with an antique hack saw that
has been in possession of the company
for many years. Bottled cokes, encas
ed in brown paper towels, were served
from a crate decorated with steel shav
ings and emery dust. Roy was serenad
ed with a lovely rendition of "Happy
Birthday To You"by all "the boys", after
which appropriate games and contests
were enjoyed by all. Charlie Young won
a prize for eating the most cake. Spe
cial guest for the occasion was "Doubt
ful, " the Shop's feline mascot, now de
ceased.

his 21st wedding anniversary, having
been married for half of his life. He

the shortest. He is married, has six
children and one grandchild . He re
