Know how to remove a tick from
your skin? Quickest, safest way says
American Mutual's Institute For Safer
Living is to put a drop of ether, chloro
form, nail polish remover, even lighter
fluid on him. Don't do this near a light
ed cigarette. Don't yank him out--an
embedded tick's head can cause serious
infection.

And thou shalt love the Lord
thy God with all thy heart, and
with all thy soul, and with all
thy mind, and with all thy
strength: this is the first com
mandment.—(St. Mark 12,30.)
Loving God, cleansing our
selves constantly of evil and
self-will, that we may live fully
in harmony with the All-Good,
Almighty, Heavenly Father, is
no part-time occupation. We
must live completely within
Him. It can be accomplished
only by constant prayer and
striving.
