HONOR STUDENTS SANDY SAYS: We all enjoy our work more and do better job if things are going smoothly. This is true any time. But today a spirit of cooperation in our work is more important than ever because of the keen Competition with which our sales force is faced. It takes a "team" such as the one "'c have in our organization--and of which we are a part—to make sure that Competition can't better our quality, Celling price or delivery. That means cooperating with our fellow workers who are doing their part—cooperating with the supervisor Cl" foreman who is responsible for our department- -cooperating with other de partments if the nature of our particular job requires it. Getting along with those we contact in Our work makes it possible for us to do our best work. This "best work" makes it easier for our sales force to sell our product. Carolyn Ann Guyer, daughter of Madie Guyer, looper at Plant #1, and JerryBullins, son of LoisBullins, also a looper at Plant #1, were honored on November 3, 1955, by being elected to membership in the High Point Chapter of the National Honor Society. Member ship in the Society is based on outstand ing service, scholarship, leadership and character. Jerry is also a member of the Senior High School varsity football team. I have a wife and three small chil dren, and they are totally dependent upon me. My worldly goods consist mostly of my health and ability to work; there fore, I must be able to report on the job everyday. Any loss of time on my part means their security is in danger.
