DRIVER PRAISED X-RAYS MADE The following letter was received recently from Miss Helen Kaiser, As sistant Professor in Rehabilitation in Charge of Division of Physical Therapy at the Duke University School of Medi cine: May 15, 1956 Adams-Millis Hosiery Corporation High Point, North Carolina Dear Sirs: I would like to report to you how much 1 appreciated the courtesy and kindness of one of your truck drivers, Mr. C. W. Elmore, who stopped to change a tire forme last Friday evening. It was just at dusk and on a stretch of Route 70 with no service stations within miles. I can assure you I was most grateful to him. As I could not re-imburse him for his trouble, I thought the least I could do would be to tell you of his good works. The chest X-rays will show any signs of tuberculosis, lung tumor or abnormal heart. Employees are cur rently being notified of the results of their X-rays. CANCER DRIVE Although no organized effort was made, employees of Adams-Millis Cor poration gave $115. 10 to the American Cancer Society during its 1956 drive. This money will be used by the Society to: 1. Support an Information Center 2. Support a Service Program 3. Support a Nursing Home 4. Support a National Research Program 5.
