Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Stewart are the proud parents of a baby girl, Rita Fay,born on the 4th of July. Bobby is a boarder at Plant #4. Welcome back to Beatrice Smith ^ho returned to work on July 16 after Several weeks' absence. Beatrice is in the Pairing Department. We extend our sympathy to Hessie Johnson in the loss of her father. Hes sie is a mender at Plant #4. Margaret Troxler, Looping De partment, was married to Raymond Woods in Lancaster, S. C. , on July 10. The couple will make their home on East Polo Road, Winston-Salem, N. C. spent their vacations in Florida. All are employees of the Pairing Depart ment at Plant #7. Other Pairing Department em ployees who enjoyed vacations out of town were Foreman Howard Voncannon who visited Carolina Beach; Virginia Southard who visited Washington and Baltimore; Alene Patton who went to Indiana; and Betty Davis who toured the mountains of Virginia and North Caro lina. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. ClintonKersey on the birth of a sonborn July 15. The mother, Ina Lee, is a pairer. Betty Koonts and Arnold Hunt were married in a double ring cere mony at the parson age of the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church on June 27. Betty is a pairer at Plant #7 and Arnold is a knitter at Plant #1. •5^ Shellie Williard enjoyed a vacation ^tNiagara Falls. While away, she also '"isited relatives in Flint, Michigan. Shellie is a Pairing Department em ployee of Plant #4. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Sylvia T eague who underwent surgery I'ecently at City Hospital in Winston- Salem. Sylvia is in the Rider Depart- >aient. Welcome to newcomer Wallace E. Pyals. Wallace is a lot man. PLANT NO. 7 Jane Hayworth, Ada Myers, Nell Ozrnent, Goldie Bost and Lois Hughes Ada and George Nelson have re cently moved into their new home in the Oakview section. Ada is employed in the Inspecting Department of Plant #1 and George is employed in the Pairing Department of Plant #7. A son, Jeffrey Lynn, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Dorset! on the 10th of June. Shelby, the mother, is a pairer. (Continued on page 12 )
